Glass door knobs kit adds a traditional elegance to the dungeon, but also accumulates dust and junk over time. Door knobs have a factory applied paint that breaks down, exposed the surface to contamination, dirt and rain. Rust and mat develop, leaving green or black spots. Clean brass knocker month and polish it several times a year.
Mix 1/2 teaspoon detergent soap with a cup of warm water in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth in the solution and wipe off the glass door knobs to remove dirt and debris. Pour enough vinegar onto the cloth to dampen it, and dip the tablecloth into salt. Rubbing salt and vinegar is wiped through the door knob to wipe away. Rinse with clean water and dry.
Apply a dime size amount of brass polish to a cloth and wipe over knocker gently with a circular motion. Wrap a nail tape stick in a cloth to remove dirt from intricately engraved areas or difficult accesses. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Dip a clean dry cloth in a car wax and rubbing over glass door knobs. Buff with the cloth until the automatic wax forms a thin, clear layer over the surface. The automatic wax protects the knocker from further dirt and damage, especially if the paint has diminished.
